We will continue to update this article. (update 17/04/2024)
Currently, there is no comprehensive guide available specifically for Kig-style fursuits. However, we would like to share some past experiences and tips with you.
- Before purchasing a fursuits head, it is crucial to measure your head circumference and face length. This is very important to ensure a proper fit and avoid issues such as the chin being exposed or the head size being inappropriate. Currently, the head circumference range in the market is between 52-62CM, and the face length should be at least 25 CM or more.
- Try to avoid exposing skin as much as possible. You can consider wearing a scarf or neck cover to conceal the area around the neck. If you want to minimize skin exposure to the maximum extent, wearing a base layer is recommended. We currently have base layer clothing available for sale in our store. The reason for avoiding skin exposure is that it may result in an uncomfortable appearance and the skin tone may not match well, causing a noticeable contrast.
- When wearing Kigi-style fursuits outfits, we recommend using a fan to keep cool because wearing the fursuits head for an extended period can feel stuffy. If you plan to wear the fursuits head for a long time, here's a helpful tip: you can purchase sponge pads to place under your chin and in the areas where there is space on top of your head. This will make the fursuits head more comfortable to wear and prevent any potential bumps or discomfort.
