Storage:

  • Minipartials and partials: Store in a plastic container, bag, backpack, or suitcase.
  • Fullbody suits, armsleeves, and long tails: Hang from a perch to prevent wrinkles.
  • Store in an enclosed space with moderate temperature and humidity.

Washing:

  • Machine-washable items: handpaws, armsleeves, tails, indoor feetpaws, bodysuits, padding
  • Use a neutral liquid laundry detergent. Avoid washing powder and detergents that leave residue.
  • Do not use laundry whiteners. Use a prewash stain remover for white parts or stains.
  • Add a small amount of fabric softener if fur is rough.
  • Do not iron or wash with hot water.
  • Wet fur is heavy; check washer weight specifications before washing.
  • Brush the entire suit in the direction of the fur after washing and hang to dry.

Drying:

  • Handpaws: Hang from the wrist with fingers pointing down.
  • Armsleeves: Unbuckle and hang separately from the elastic strap.
  • Tail: Hang from the elastic belt straps.
  • Indoor and outdoor feetpaws: Hang from the ankles or rest on tiptoes.
  • Bodysuit: Hang from the shoulders.
  • Padding: Squeeze out excess water and hang to dry.
  • Use clothes pins on seams to avoid marks on the fur.
  • Use a hairdryer or fans to speed up drying.
  • Ensure the suit is completely dry before storing to prevent fungus growth.

Cleaning the Head:

  • Hand-wash only.
  • Use a stain remover for white parts or stains.
  • Dampen the outer part of the head with water.
  • Add detergent slowly and create foam.
  • Rinse thoroughly, squeezing out excess water from ears and cheeks.
  • Brush and air dry in a ventilated area.

Cleaning Outdoor Feetpaws and Sandals:

  • Sandals: Wash with a brush and soap. Rinse and air dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Feetpaws: Wash with the same detergent and method as the head. Brush the soles, rinse, and air dry.
