In-depth sharing of materials for kig-style fursuits.

  1. Hot glue gun: Choose a temperature-adjustable one, the most commonly used size is 7mm.
  2. Positioning clips (to prevent fabric from shifting): Available in stores, affordable but limited stock.
  3. EVA foam sheets: 5mm thickness, hardness 60; 3mm thickness, hardness 45 (used for making eye sockets); 2mm and 1mm thickness (used for making eyelids).
  4. Fur clippers.
  5. Scissors: ❶ Tailor's scissors, for cutting fabrics. ❷ Small scissors, for trimming facial details like eyeliner. ❸ Bent-tip scissors and straight scissors.
  6. Comb.
  7. Fabric adhesive tape, cling film: Used during the design process.
  8. Head base model, preferably with shoulders for easier neck construction.
  9. Needles and thread.
  10. Powder pigments, inexpensive makeup brushes, for applying makeup to the mask.
  11. Eye shells.
  12. Faux fur fabric.
  13. Eyes: Printed eyes/computer dust filter marker or hand-painted with acrylic paint.
  14. Skull
